The WGCC Annual Summit is our premier national event, bringing together women general counsel and senior legal executives from across Canada. The Summit delivers timely, relevant programming on leadership, governance, and emerging legal issues combined with exceptional networking and peer exchange. Where applicable, participants may also earn CPD credits, making the Summit a cornerstone of both professional growth and community building.

          iii.      Peer Connection, Designed for Leaders: WGCC Networking Circles

WGCC Networking Circles convene small, facilitated groups of members in a confidential, virtual setting to discuss practical leadership and professional topics. Circles are intentionally designed to support candid conversation, shared experience, and peer learning while respecting the professionalism and discretion expected at the GC level. Flexible scheduling and CPD eligibility (where applicable) make Circles an accessible and highly valued member benefit.

Coffee Connections create informal opportunities for members to connect one-to-one or in small groups, strengthening relationships across geographies and sectors. Whether in person or virtual, these conversations foster belonging, collaboration, and peer support particularly valuable in remote and hybrid work environments.

Members receive invitations to exclusive events hosted by WGCC’s trusted sponsors, developed in collaboration with WGCC to ensure relevance and quality. WGCC Masterclass Series are designed specifically for our membership, focusing on topics that matter to senior in-house legal leaders. These virtual sessions deliver practical insight, expert perspectives, and opportunities to earn CPD credits while keeping members connected across Canada.

WGCC Sociables recognize that strong professional communities are built not only through learning, but also through shared experience and connection.

• Member-Organized Sociables are informal, pay-as-you-go gatherings initiated by members at the local level.
• WGCC-Organized Socials are hosted by WGCC (or a sponsor) and offered on a limited capacity basis, occasionally with a nominal fee to confirm attendance.

Together, these events foster camaraderie, friendship, and a sense of belonging within the WGCC community.

      viii.     Opportunities to Contribute & Lead: WGCC Committees and Board Service
